Australian Fungi Illustrated
It has been estimated that 250,000 species of fungi, mostly unnamed, exist in Australia. This is ten times as many as we have of flowering plants and ferns.

Fungi are microscopic organisms. A very small proportion produce spore-bearing fruit bodies large enough to be seen with the naked eye.

For more than forty years this much traveled author and photographer has been recording these fruit bodies and now, in this user-friendly book, he presents in full colour a representative collection of over 400 species.

Land managers, Land for Wildlife-ers, members of Landcare groups as well as naturalists, bushwalkers and all who take their recreation in the outdoors will find this book invaluable.
