Wild Plants of Greater Brisbane
Wild Plants of Greater Brisbane is a full-colour identification guide to more than 500 of the wild plants of the Brisbane region. Easy-to-read entries descibe the physical appearance and identifying features of each plant, and where it is most likely found. Descriptions are accompanied by a clear, colour photograph. As most of the species also occur more widely in Australia, their broader distribution is indicated in the text.

The guide was produced in response to huge public demand following the release of the companion guide, Wildlife of Greater Brisbane. The plants are grouped according to the habitats in which they are encountered (coastal dunes, wetlands, wallum heath, Eucalypt forests, rainforests, mountain heath, streets and parks). A section on weeds is also included. The numerous authors are recognized specialists in their particular fields. A comprehensive introduction to the wild flora of the region, Wildlife of Greater Brisbane is an excellent text suitable for all levels of interest.
